"Pay It Forward" Mustang Sells at Barrett-Jackson
The MCA/ScottDrake "Pay It Forward" Project Mustang, restored by the East Texas Mustang Club crossed the auction block at 3:00 (Eastern) on Sunday, January 24, 2010, in Scottsdale, Arizona's Barrett-Jackson Auction.
The winnig bid came in at $42,000.
Congratulations to the East Texas Mustang Club "Pay It Forward" restoration committee, and to the recipient of the auction proceeds, The East Texas Crisis Center!
Win a 2009 GT500KR
Guardians of Animals is raffling a 2009 GT500KR, number number 459 of 571 built. The winner and a guest will be flown to Las Vegas to Shelby Automobiles for a tour of the facility and to receive their new Shelby. Guardians of Animals is also paying up to $23,000 to cover the cost of taxes for winning the car. There is a total of 7,500 tickets at $50 each. The event will run through February 1, 2010. Archived Issues of Mustang Times Now Available Online
Randy Jacobson, National Board of Director and MCA Historian, has been working tirelessly to provide an online archive of Mustang Times issues.
Due to the large volume of back issues, the copies will be posted in bundles of 10. Volume 1-10, covering 1977-1986, Volumes 11-20, covering 1987-1996, Volumes 21-30, covering 1997-2006, and Volume 31 (2007) are now available. Each bundle has three versions of a searchable database index: articles only, ads only, ads and articles combined.
