An OEM style battery is crazy expensive so I got the right size maintance free Motorcraft battery from Ford which is what came in the "73s". Took off the cluser caps and found some screw in style. I had to paint them red and modify the screw side to push fit and then put the Motorcraft sticker on the right side of the battery. I have my "73" in concourse trailered and not one judge has ever ask about it. To this date three silver, while it was a four barrel and two gold awards since the two barrel went back on.
