Hi, it is odd that you ask about the Aluminum Door Hinges for a 65-66. Those were on the A/FX Cars. I just happen to have a NOS Set of them. I have a 65 Fastback I built from a project another guy started with his brother around 1970 or so. They purchased a car from a local owner and gutted it, put the shell on a 2x3 steel tube frame and went to Holman Moody in Charlotte, NC and Purchased about all the A/FX parts to build an A/Gasser out of the car. Their plans changed when the local Ford Dealer called to offer a 69 Boss 302 Mustang the Dealership had just repossesed. They built a Modified Production type car from the Boss and I purchased the Fastback and all the parts. In the deal with the body and frame were, A/FX Fiberglass Front End with an A&A Flat Hood, Fiberglass Doors with stickers that said Ford of Canada on them, a Fiberglass Deck Lid, Glass Front Bumper, Plexi Glass Windshield, Plexi Glass Door Windows & Vent Windows, a Fiberglass Top, and the Aluminum Door Hinges. I was only about 17 and stored the car and parts in my parents garage, finished Hi School and 3 years in the Army. When I got back home I had the body welded to the frame, had an Aluminum Interior installed, had a 9 inch Rear Narrowed and Installed with Ladder Bars & Coil Over Shocks, had a front suspension built for the car and had the Fiberglass body parts installed. Still have the car. Never finished it. No wiring, no drive train, just a rolling chassis with Rack & Pinion, Home made Struts, Steering Column, and Race Seat. Weighs about 1,200 pounds. Never used the Aluminum door Hinges. Kind of really want to sell the whole car. I have the Original Metal Drivers Door too with the Vin Number Data Plate and the Orig Title. Mike. 704-516-8033 cell, home is, 704-867-7566. The car is for sale cheaper than you might think. Thanks for taking the time to read all this.
