1995 Mustang Cobra: Custom built 306 in3 engine with Vortech V-2 supercharger, digital fuel injection. Original engine and transmission (not installed), 4 winter tires on Cobra wheels, 2 drag radials on Weld wheels are included.
The installed engine is a custom 306 eagle rotating assembly with Edelbrock heads and a Vortech V-2 Supercharger. Supercharger oil is plumbed with the engine oil circulating pump (high discharge pressure) and external oil cooler. 7 quart capacity oil sump. Digital fuel injection (the original wiring harness remains in place). Front brake line lock for warming the rear tires.
Drive train: Racing Steel flywheel, Centerforce dual friction clutch, PRO 5.0 Billet Performance Short Throw Shifter, aluminum drive shaft, 3.73 gears, drive shaft safety loop.
Air: Cold air induction through a K&N Filter, a 65 mm throttle body, MAC equal length shorty headers, Bassani High Flow Cats, MagnaFlow Mufflers, SS pipes.
Fuel: Hi flow in-tank pump, high capacity fuel injectors, Accel digital fuel injection, Accel DFI computer access key for real time data analysis.
Ignition: MSD, Taylor 10.4 mm Thundervolt wires.
Suspension: fully upgraded including adjustable Koni shocks up front and Lakewood shocks in rear, upgraded rear upper and lower control arms. Adjustable BBK caster/camber alignment plates.
Interior: VDO shift light, Autometer boost and fuel pressure gauges. Relocated clock, G-TechPro performance timer.
After purchasing two collector Mustangs, I no longer drag race. After purchasing a 2012 Boss to complement my 70 Boss, I no longer need to keep my Cobra.
Known Cobra flaws: Power Steering seal leak. Cruise control needs repair. A/C needs repair: All refrigerant was lost through an a/c line leak which fried the compressor. I will donate a used a/c compressor and identify the breached line. Driver’s seat motor is weak.
