This was the car STEEDA built in 2007 and serialized as 2008-001. So it is production number 1 and is 1 of 1 ever built. It was featured in the NITTO tire booth at the 2007 SEMA show in Las Vegas (pictures below). It was also part of the feature article “Q Mania” in the July 2008 issue of Mustang Enthusiast magazine in which this car was on the cover. This Grabber Orange STEEDA was also on the cover of the STEEDA catalog and featured throughout. The car has been signed by Dario Orlando, President of STEEDA, on the radiator cover and passenger side dash (seen in pictures below.) I also have a copy of the original title which states STEEDA auto sports as the owner and further signed documentation authenticating this car. A binder detailing everything possible about the car will go with the buyer.
The car is powered by the 4.0 V6 and is boosted by the “X-Charger” supercharger system. The heart of which is the Eaton M-90 generation 4 supercharger making 10 lbs. of boost pushing output to 355 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. I bought the car from STEEDA on 3/10/10 with just under 14,000 miles and now has just over 18,600 miles. It has never been raced because the 40K in insurance coverage from Hagerty’s strictly forbids it, so I can’t tell you quarter mile times.
The wheels that will come with the car are the black KMC GTX 187 (20x8.5 and 20x10) seen in the SEMA pictures. They have Hankook Ventus V12 Evo’s on them with just 300 miles. The car spends 99% of its life in a garage and is in excellent condition. The paint is in excellent condition, but has normal nicks on the front fascia and front of the hood…its was that way when I got it and never wanted to repaint it to protect its originality.
