      Description:

      1969 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE – 351 ENGINE

ONLY 41,250 MILES – IT DRIVES LIKE NEW !

Mr. and Mrs. William T. Hatcher purchased this car new from Stephenson Ford in their hometown of Gaffney, SC. The date was July 18, 1969 and the salesman, Mr. Clary, allowed them $2,132.28 for their 1968 Volkswagen.

Mrs. Hatcher drove the car sparingly until 1976, when it was stored in the warehouse with only 41,000 miles.

Upon the passing of Mr. & Mrs. Hatcher, it was willed to son, Thomas Hatcher, who never moved it. The last inspection sticker is still in the windshield (1976).

After 36 years, a classic car dealer, whom bought the car, removed it from the  “barn” in the spring of 2012.

We bought this wonderful and no rust car on October 2012 and started to work in a complete restoration, preserving its original and stunning interior, as well as tools, spare tire, trunk pads and impeccable factory panels.

During the documented restoration process, all the tags and numbers were kept (as shown in the pictures). The car is in show room condition, making this pony car a time machine, in preservation and driving aspects.

Restored to the highest mechanical standards, this wonderful Mustang has its original invoice, warranty card, top boot and top boot bag.

Rubber seals, fuel and brake lines were replaced by new ones, as well as shocks and suspension bushings. Carburator was rebuilt and the white top is also new.

According to Marti Report this car is 1 of 432 with these paint/trim codes – Black Jade Paint/Dark Ivy Gold Kiwi vinyl and is equipped with 351 – 2V engine, a brand new white power top, FMX cruise-o-matic transmission, rocker panel moldings, bucket seats, AM Radio, wheel covers and white sidewall tires and wheel covers.

Perhaps this is the best 1969 Mustang convertible available.
