This is a 1987 LX Sedan 5.0 HO. Ford Motor Company only produced 4,888 of these models in 1987. Of that 4,888 produced, 643 of them were SSV (Special Service Vehicles) commonly known as "cop cars". Of the total 4,888 produced, only 62 of them were black. This is one of those 62. This car was kept in storage for over 15yrs. It is totally stock and unaltered, right down to the factory exaust system. The car currently has less than 55,000 original miles. I just purchased this vehicle from a MOPAR dealer off of eBay. Neither he, nor myself, had any idea as to what we had in our hands. After purchasing the vehicle, I began to do some production number research on the 1987-93 5.0 Mustangs. You can imagine my surprise when I found out this was one of only 62 like it produced. I am starting the bidding at $15,000. GOOD LUCK!!!
