Trophies Awarded: Club Participation, Top 25 and Best of Show for Car, Truck and Bike

All Judging Will Be by Experienced Judges.

Special Dash Plaques will be given to the first 100 vehicles to register.

ALL Cars, Hot Rods, Trucks, Specialty Vehicles and Bikes Are Welcome.

All Proceeds Will Be Donated to the VA Residents’ Recreation Therapy Fund.

This fund provides recreational opportunities to Veterans in the hospital. It helps to cover the cost of program expenses such as the annual Super Bowl party; cook-outs as well as purchasing regularly needed supplies. The fund will also help send participants to the yearly National Veterans Wheelchair Games.

The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center was able to send several participants to the National Veteran Wheelchair Games, 1-6August 2011, in Pittsburg, PA. Our club members are very proud to have been instrumental in raising the funds for the two additional Veterans to attend the National Veteran Wheelchair Games.

Last Year the “Visit With A Veteran” Show Donated $4,921.71 to the VA Recreation Therapy Fund.

Back by popular demand, Mustangs at the Beach 2012 is a Mustang Club of America (MCA) Car Show set on Long Island’s scenic north shore in Sands Point, New York, hosted by the Mustang and Shelby Club of Long Island. The show is presented at the beautiful Sands Point Preserve on the 216 acre Guggenheim Estate (castles, mansions, etc.) and private beach overlooking Long Island Sound. All Mustangs and Fords are welcome (Ford powered, etc.). Proceeds benefit Long Island Cares / Harry Chapin Food Bank and the Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation. Our first show was June 17-19th, 2011 and the feedback from our participants and visitors has been very positive. In all, 330 cars participated in the show and the park estimates close to 3,000 spectators joined us! In addition we held a banquet at Hempstead House, a mansion on the show site, which was sold out with 160 attendees. Activities included an MLB baseball game, a winery cruise, fund raiser raffle at the event and guest speaker Jerry Heasley. The event was covered by the Mustang Times, Mustang Monthly, and Mustang Magazine.

The fourth annual Tupelo Cruise is ramping up and looks to be our best event ever! We moved the date to May 26th and 27th to take advantage of better weather and a three day weekend, this also allows us to add more events to the schedule for even more fun!

EVENT SCHEDULE

MAY 26th *********************************************************

8AM - 12PM - Cars arrive for show and shine and event registration.

8AM - 4PM - Show and shine / visit museum (Tupelo Auto Museum)
Show and shine at the museum parking lot. Come prepared to polish your ride and meet people from across the Mid South. Clubs bring your pop-up tents and banners to show your club pride! Music will be provided. Lunch - Eat at our onsite concessionaire, Rick's BBQ. Tables will be set up inside for attendees to eat among the cars! There are lots of places in downtown Tupelo to grab a lunch to go and bring back to the museum. NOTE: Entry fees for the museum are not part of event registration. Entry fees are $7.50 for non MCA members and $5.00 for MCA members (day of the event only).

8:30AM - 3PM - Autocross at Bancorp Colleseum (EXPANDED EVENT) This event is open to all vehicles (not just Mustangs) and is intended to be instructional and to provide a controlled environment for people of all driving abilities to test their driving skills and get instruction from certified drivers. Coordinated in conjunction with SCCA instructors, the autocross course will be set up in the coliseum parking lot right behind the Tupelo Auto Museum so you can easily move from the show and shine area to the autocross course and back. Driver’s safety meeting and course walk through starting at 8:30AM and the course will open at 9:00AM and will run until at least last car out. This will be a timed track with only one car on the track at a time and one time around the track per run. This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in testing out your driving skills to participate in a pressure free environment! UPDATE - Helmuts not required so everyone can have fun!

4PM - 8PM - Evening Activities at the Tupelo Auto Museum
Preregistration is required for attendance to the dinner. This is a catered event. In order to keep prices down we are opting for self serve buffet with paper plates, etc.

4PM - 5PM - Doors open for evening activities including cash bar and live band! Dinner guests enter free! $5 entry fee for everyone else.

5PM - 7PM - Dinner among the cars with guest speaker, Mike Laney from Ford Racing!

9PM - 11PM - Pub Crawl - Poker Walk (NEW EVENT)
Purchase hands for the event and walk the downtown area to several bars/locations to pick up your cards. Cash prizes for best and worst hand. Proceeds will go to charity as well!

The 33rd Annual Mustang Club of Central Iowa All Ford Car Show & Swap Meet, sponsored by Dewey Ford, will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 in the 100-400 blocks of 5th Street in historic Valley Junction, West Des Moines, Iowa. Registration starts at 9:00 AM, with awards given at 3:30 PM.

Our annual car show is open to all Ford powered vehicles. With many different classes of cars, we attract a large variety of top-notch show cars from all over the midwest. Since the club is a region of the Mustang Club of America, we offer both MCA-judged classes (for Mustangs only) and 38 popular vote classes (for Mustangs and Fords, something for everyone!). To round out our show, we also have a swap meet (with both commercial and private vendors) and a pony corral (cars for sale).

Food vendors and restaurants are available on-site. Show held rain or shine.

The Mustang Club of Central Iowa and NQS Performance www.NQSperformance.com would like to invite you to the Mid America Motorplex (MAM) on July 21-22, 2012, for our 11th annual high speed driving event. This year we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Shelby American, and are extending a special invitation to owners of Shelbys and Cobras of all years to attend.

Saturday and Sunday will both be high speed open track days. 20-minute sessions will commence after the drivers meeting. Expect 5-6 sessions per day. Many drivers wish to record lap times to compare from year-to-year, so timing transponders will be available on Saturday if you desire. Times will be posted throughout the day to keep track of your sessions.

Sunday will be traditional open track touring without timing. 20-minute sessions will commence after the drivers meeting.
On Saturday, a special group photo is planned for all Shelby American vehicles in attendance.
MAM’s photographer will also be on hand on Saturday, so if you’d like to, you will be able to purchase a shot of your car at speed to hang on your home or office wall.

Please take note of the special early registration pricing. There is a significant savings for registering before the July 1st deadline, and an even greater savings to attend both days.

The Mid America Motorplex is conveniently located along Interstate 29 at the Glenwood exit, approximately 15 miles south of Interstate 80 near the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area. The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year. They distribute these toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.

We are hoping to collect as many toys as possible for needy families.

Also, money donated will also be used to purchase new toys.

It is a national motorcycle relay rally for prostate cancer, with the final leg ending in Washington, DC on September 9, 2012. But it just dawned us that some Mustang drives might want to join in the fun.

We are looking for riders to carry the memorial saddlebags through their state.

The Music City Mustang Club is hosting the twelfth annual High Speed Fun Driving Event. The event is a MCA sanctioned event, and is open to all makes and models. The 2012 Driving event has moved to the Memphis International Raceway in Millington, Tennessee, due to the closure of the Nashville Superspeedway. We have very fond memories from the NSS, but it is time to move on to Memphis.

Put your car through the paces at near race speeds and experience what only a few will ever have the opportunity to do. High Speed Action - Your Car, it doesn't get any better than this.

The event will open each day (May 25 - 26, 2012) at 6:30 a.m. for tech inspections and final registration. We have a mandatory Driver Meeting at 8:00 a.m. and the track goes hot at 9:00 a.m. You will be afforded volunteer ride-along instructors to help make the very Novice drivers to help make this a truly enjoyable experience

There will be seven run sessions for each of the run groups (Experienced, Intermediate, and Novice). In all you will receive approximately 1:45 minutes of actual high speed seat time on the MIR road course.

8:30AM - 3PM - Autocross at Bancorp Colleseum (EXPANDED EVENT) This event is open to all vehicles (not just Mustangs) and is intended to be instructional and to provide a controlled environment for people of all driving abilities to test their driving skills and get instruction from certified drivers. Coordinated in conjunction with SCCA instructors, the autocross course will be set up in the coliseum parking lot right behind the Tupelo Auto Museum so you can easily move from the show and shine area to the autocross course and back. Driver’s safety meeting and course walk through starting at 8:30AM and the course will open at 9:00AM and will run until at least last car out. This will be a timed track with only one car on the track at a time and one time around the track per run. This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in testing out your driving skills to participate in a pressure free environment! UPDATE - Helmuts not required so everyone can have fun!

Greetings open track enthusiasts!! The Mustang Club of Central Iowa and NQS Performance www.NQSperformance.com would like to invite you to the Mid America Motorplex (MAM) on July 21-22, 2012, for our 11th annual high speed driving event.
This year we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Shelby American, and are extending a special invitation to owners of Shelbys and Cobras of all years to attend. A special group photo will be taken of all Shelby American vehicles attending.
Saturday and Sunday will both be high speed open track days. 20-minute sessions will commence after the drivers meeting. Expect 5-6 sessions per day. Many drivers wish to record lap times to compare from year-to-year, so timing transponders will be available on Saturday if you desire. Times will be posted throughout the day to keep track of your sessions.
Sunday will be traditional open track touring without timing. 20-minute sessions will commence after the drivers meeting.
MAM’s photographer will also be on hand on Saturday, so if you’d like to, you will be able to purchase a shot of your carr at speed to hang on your home or office wall.
