The Valley Mustang Club invites everyone to join us at our eleventh annual “Valley Rally” Ford and Mustang car show on Sunday, June 2, 2013. The show will be at the Rancho Simi Valley Park District located at 1692 Sycamore Drive, one block South of Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley. The show is opened to the public from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The day concludes with an awards ceremony.
This car show will host approximately 100 show cars, food vendors, retail vendors, entertainment, raffles and displays in a family friendly environment. There will also be displays from the California Highway Patrol and the Ventura County Fire Department.
This year, we will be sponsoring two charities, For the Troops and Animal Rescue Volunteers, Inc. For The Troops is a non-profit organization that sends care packages to our military troops overseas. Visit their booth at the car show for more information. Animal Rescue Volunteers, Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps rescued animals find new homes. Their booth will feature some of the dogs that will be available for adoption.

The show is located at a large shopping mall and you will have plenty of time after voting to treat yourself to lunch and shopping. Holiday Inn Express is located just a 1/2 block from the show's location.

Ponies in the Park is the annual car show presented by Mustangs West. The car show is held at Huntamer Park in Lacey, Washington and all Mustangs and Ford powered vehicles are invited!

Our show features 35+ classes including "stock" (less than 5 mods), and modified (5+ mods) classes, special and limited production classes, Ford powered police vehicles, Ford trucks, other non-Mustang Ford powered vehicles, and two Best of Show Awards for Early (64 1/2-93) and Late (94-Present) Mustangs. In addition we also have several "Best Of" awards and other awards including the Club Participation award, Long Distance award, Hard Luck award, and many others! One of the things that separates our show from many others is the number of classes we have for special and limited production Mustangs. Last year our show featured two classes each for Saleens, Mach 1's/ Bullitt's, Bosses, Shelby's, and Cobra's and three classes for ROUSH's.

Pre-registration is $15 if received by September 16th. Registration on the day of the event will be $20

The gates will open at 9am. Registration is from 9am-11am. Tickets for our General Raffle and 50/50 Raffle will be sold throughout the show ($1 for one, $5 for six) and winners will be drawn starting at 2pm. The awards presentation will start right after the raffle drawings; around 3pm.

Proceeds benefit Step Up for Soldiers and Women of Hope. Step Up for Soldiers is a regional non-profit organization that helps veterans with disabilities by providing home modifications for handicapped, as well as transportation and other services. This year we welcome Women of Hope Wilmington to our charity family. They are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the female cancer patient, their families, and friends by offering educational opportunities, financial assistance, and other support services.

Our show is open to ALL Ford powered vehicles. Classes for all Mustang years, and Fords of every year. Last year, that included three Ford Tractors, and we're expanding that Class this year!!! Register early, space is limited to the first 200 vehicles. Judging starts at 12:30. Awards at 3:30.

Vendors are welcome. Last year we had the Ford Merchandise Truck on the show field with great Ford and Mustang accessories, as well as local food, product, and services vendors. Great family atmosphere with games for all the kids (including those OVER 30!) and the "World Famous Pony Races." The Mustang Club of Central Iowa and NQS Performance would like to invite you to the Mid America Motorplex (MAM) on July 20-21, 2013, for our 12th annual high speed driving event. Saturday and Sunday will both be high speed open track days. 20-minute sessions will commence after the drivers meeting. Expect 5-6 sessions per day. Many drivers wish to record lap times to compare from year-to-year, so timing transponders will be available on Saturday if you desire. Sunday will be traditional open track touring without timing. MAM’s photographer will also be on hand on Saturday, so if you’d like, you will be able to purchase a shot off your car at speed to hang on your home or office wall. One of the great classes that the NMRA offers, the TREMEC True Street class, has been a hit in Ohio each time the NMRA has come to town. One month after the swing event on the points tour, the NMRA rolls into Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois, over the weekend of July 11-14, 2013. The 8th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street legal Drag Racing Presented by Miller Welders is one of the crown jewels in ProMedia organization's family of events. By combining all of the classes across both racing sanctions, selecting an outstanding venue like Route 66 Raceway that is centrally located to much of the country, and bringing the baddest street-legal style cars in the country together in one place, the stage is set for ground-breaking, record-setting events to take place. John Kolivas crushed the ProCharger Super Street Outlaw record in qualifying while John Leslie Jr. cranked off a 10.88 in BFGoodrich Tires Factory Stock. That's not all, folks. That was just during Friday's sessions! Notable on Saturday was Sean Lyon's performance, as he unleashed a 7.53 at over 188 mph in AFCO Drag Radial in the first round of eliminations. The action was insane at last year's event, and this year will be even more exciting!

Over the last several years, the Route 66 surface has been home to many record-setting passes - from John Kolivas' 7.321 in SSO a few years ago while running on a tiny 275/60/15 drag radial tire to last year's efforts from Lyon, Leslie, Jr. and more. It's called the Super Bowl of Street legal Drag Racing for a reason, and the racing action reflects that title. Over 30 race classes filled with all kinds of awesome Detroit iron, walkin' and talkin' down the track - this event is an absolute must! Last year, in the Super Bowl portion of the event, the NMRA came out on top over the NMCA for the fourth time in six years - will the NMCA's class winners be able to close the gap this year? Celebrate Mustang as Marque of the Year
At the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) is excited to announce that Ford Mustang will be the 2013 Marque of the Year. If you are a Mustang owner or enthusiast, we’re inviting you to the PVGP Mustang races and car show events. The PVGP is the nation's largest vintage race event, covering 10 full days – with each event focusing on Mustangs. This is a must for any Mustang owner or fan. Mustangs of all years are welcome as we gear up to celebrate Mustang’s 50th Anniversary.

The culmination of Grand Prix Race Week occurs on the July 20-21 weekend in Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, where organizers have reserved space for the first 500 Mustangs to be on display in the middle of the golf course overlooking the vintage races. Mustang owners will be part of the country’s largest vintage race event and have an opportunity to take a parade lap on the 2.3 mile street circuit in front of 100,000 spectators! Ford is hosting the Marque Pavilion and promises to bring special guests and Mustangs from museums and private collections, even special racing editions.

Event hours are 9a to 5p each day. Registration is open from 9a to 11a on both days. The registration fee is $30 (for both days). Please register by July 18, 2013. Your entry fee includes a commemorative dash plaque and a PVGP Race Program. As a 501(c) organization, the car registration fee is tax deductible and benefits the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School.

We just learned that John Clor will set up a Ford Performance Group tent at the registration area on Saturday to meet and greet Mustang enthusiasts.

Mustang Pavilion atSchenley
The culmination of our 10 day celebration of the Mustang occurs at our InternationalCar Show at Schenley Park on the July 20/21 weekend. All Marque of the YearMustang’s will be displayed in our traditional Marque of the Year fairway alongSchenley Drive. Mustangs are much too fast to race within the confines ofSchenley Park, but there will be hundreds of them covering the golf course.
We expect 500 Mustang owners and enthusiasts to participate in our celebrationof the pony car and its rich heritage. You don’t need to be a member ofany specific club or organization. All years and models of Mustangs are welcomeat this display only event. We preferthat you drive your car to the event, but off-site trailer parking isavailable.

Participants will get a prime parking spot on the Marque of the Year fairway onboth Saturday and Sunday. There will be nearly 2,000 cars on display on thegolf course as part of the International Car Show at Schenley Park.

This is our annual event in which we honor our veterans past and present. We have over 30 warbirds on display and have a car show with all proceeds going to keeping our collection of WWII aircraft flying. All contributions are tax deductible. As the final stanza to the 2013 NMRA points-earning race season, the 15th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA World Finals commence in Bowling Green, Kentucky, over the weekend of October 3-6 2013. This event wraps up the points battles in all of the NMRA's racing classes, and brings the most awesome All-Ford and Mustang action to the quarter-mile dragstrip at Beech Bend Park - the site of many incredible feats in the Mustang world. The first World Ford Challenge was held here in Bowling Green. John Urist has wrapped up EIGHT ProCharger Super Street Outlaw championships here. 5.0 Mustang Magazine hosts their King of the Street competition here each year. Many other class records have been set, re-set, eclipsed and demolished in an effort to win an NMRA championship and all of the glory and accolades that come with it. So when we say you should mark these dates on your calendar and plan your vacation time now, there's a reason for it!

Last year at this event, seven of the eight heads-up class elapsed time records were set during Sunday's elimination rounds. ALL NMRA championships will be decided at the end of the weekend. Make your plans now as the hotels fill up quickly for this awesome event - a great way to wrap up the end of the 2013 NMRA championship season!
