• How to become a Regional MCA club!

We have had several requests recently on how to become an MCA Regional Club. Here is how to do it!

Read through and fill out the attached application and forward it to clubs@mustang.org. This goes to the regional clubs committee who should respond back verifying they received it. They will work with you directly as your application moves through the process.

    PROCESS OVERVIEW
Once your application is received it is reviewed by the Club Charter Committee. They will contact you with any questions or concerns they may have. Once the committee approves your request they will take it to the National Board and make a recommendation at the next quarterly MCA National Board of Directors meeting that your club be approved as an MCA Regional Club. The MCA National Board of Directors will vote whether to accept your club or not. Once this vote takes place the Regional Club Committee will contact you with the results!

So what are you waiting for? Start the process to become an MCA Regional Club today!

Do you still have to wait a year before getting chartered?

No you donot unless you are a start up club that has not been in operation for a year.

Do you consider the number of MCA charter clubs in the area, so as to not flood an area with too many clubs? Do you still contact neighboring clubs for their input?

We do still consider the # of clubs in any given area as well as population and square miles. I do speak with all clubs in the vicinity for input.

      Hope this helps

Some friends in St Croix (USVI) are interested in becoming a regional club. I have sent them the info pack from the MCA website. From your message, I assume they must form a club (with at least 10 MCA members) and then be in operation for at least one year before they can submit an application to be a Regional MCA Club. Correct???
