The Sacramento Area Mustang Club is a non-profit organization of enthusiasts dedicated to the promotion of the Ford Mustang and it's legacy of fun and good times. All enthusiasts, Mustang owner's or not, are invited to join. Mustang ownership is not required to become a member of the Club, only the desire to enjoy and promote the Mustang, and to join with other members in the Club activities. Membership dues are $25.00 per year for individual members; in addition, family members may join as Associates, at $5 each. A monthly newsletter, From the Horse's Mouth, is included with the membership.
We organize social events, driving events, car shows, swap meets, tech sessions, dinners, monthly general meetings, and our annual Mustangs & Fords at the Marriott (formerly the Mustangs & Fords in the Park) car show. With the proceeds, we support organizations in area including, but limited to: the California Auto Museum; the Ford A.S.S.E.T. Program; Operation Backpack (for kids who might otherwise not have one) and the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society.
Members also receive special discounts on parts and services at selected automotive business. The Sacramento Area Mustang Club is also a regional member of the Mustang Club of America.
It's not always about Mustangs - well, yes it is...
