    Purchased on 1/13/1990. Previous owners unknown. Jan 20, 1966 build date makes this a very early Sprint 200.

    Painted Wimbledon white with a custom white/dark brown interior, including an incorrect bench seat when purchased. Now restomoded with a warmed over 289 4V, 1994 Ford Bright Blue Pearl Metallic paint, black standard interior with wood grain appointments.

    Modifications

    Completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. Uni-body repairs made including replacement of driver side quarter panel, door skin, driver side trunk floor, and tail light panel. All steel repairs made to inner and outer wheel wells and factory sound deadener and seam sealer carefully repaired and/or replicated. Original red oxide under carriage primer preserved and color matched where repairs were made.

    Soon to sport American Racing Torque Thrust D 15x7" wheels with 215 50-15 BF Goodrich radial T/A

    1965 289 cid C code completely rebuilt with Edelbrock Performer camshaft, lifters and valve springs, Performer intake, carburetor, and double roller timing chain. Stock bore and rods. New stock pistons. Machined Block and crank. Stock reworked heads with three angle valve job. Accel dual point racing distributor with Pertronix module and Pertronix "flamethower" coil. Full length Hedman headers, 1-5/8 primaries and 3" collectors. 2-1/2' dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and GT style exhaust trumpets exiting through the rear valance. Stock C4 automatic.

    Currently installing a rebuilt 8" rear end, Granada power disc brakes, 620 lb coil springs, gas shocks, 1-1/8" front sway bar, Shelby 1" control arm drop and poly graphite bushings.

    New standard Black interior with bucket seats, new console (Black with wood grain inserts), wood-grain Instrument cluster and glove box door.

    Currently chrome "Edelbrock" valve covers and chrome Oil fill, Hipo style open element air cleaner with K&N filter. Future upgrades include detailing to stock K code High Performance "stock" configuration including finishes, wires, hoses, decals, the correct "Hipo" air cleaner, and chrome valve covers.
