i'm watching the weather too. we are coming from ky, leaving wednesday morning. we have been lucky the last few years about getting rained on at the shows. i hope our luck holds.
According to AccuWeather on my Blackberry, it's fine - Friday (high of 86) and Saturday (high of 83) with thunderstorms. Sunday will be partly cloudy about 83.
At this point the weather forecasters are still guessing. So far this year here in east Texas it has been warmer and dryer than normal with lots of sun. I expect acceptable weather this weekend with high in the 90s. Bring your sun screen.
Like Oklahoma, weather in Texas is never guaranteed :)
Thanks to all for the info. Look forward to an exciting fun-filled weekend.
I may be too late to register for the BBQ on Saturday night. Unfortunately, I will not be bring a vehicle this year. However, we will be flying in to Dallas on Friday to attend the show. Is it possible to register for the dinner Saturday morning of the show or should I just register on-line. Your responses will be appreciated.
Regards
my stang is ready, looking forward to the 4 1/2 hr cruise north to Mesquite with fellow members from the San Antonio Mustang Club.
I'll be coming in frm PHX this weekend. I lived in Texas as a kid from 84-98 amd my parents still live there. The weather in TX can be very interesting so to speak. It can change in a matter of minutes. Hopefully it will stay dry this weekend. It is currently raining here in PHX today. Looking forward to seeing some nice cars...
Packing my bags. Driving over tomorrow morning. Was planning to drive the '67 but wimped out and registered the Cobra (with A/C, power steering, etc.)
