Sorry about the 8 just a mistype. Yes I am installing the the Luxury Interior/Seats that will = the B after the 65.
The 289 engine is not the original one but from the same era. In the rebuild we discover the high lift cam and needed to bore it 30 over.
I will be using it as a driver but will trailer it to the shows. I will want to enter it as class PS (Concours Driven. Will this work for me?
Paul
from what i gather you attempting you may be better off in the occasional driven trailered class. authenticity is not judged in that class.
You are correct on that and thanks for the help.
By the way can you help on my other post regarding the location of the brackets for the emergency break line back to the rear wheel. I have posted a pictured but here is an other one
Paul
I will look for them and thanks.
Can you tell me what Carberator is correct for the 289 HP? I was told it should be a Carter 600.
Paul
For 1966 it would have been an Autolite 4100 (600 CFM). For an automatic it would be a C6ZF-F and the manual would be a C6ZF-C
Would a Holly 600 CFM Work (do the job) with no deductions in the occasional driven trailered class.
