What articele ??????
Good information Terry. I think Rick Mitchell was a member of our club in the 1980's. Rick used to do the Sprint registry. Ricks article states that the fastback and coupe were available in January 1966 and the convertible was added in March 1966. Based on that information none of the choices listed on the MCA test would be correct.
The best part of a good MCA test question is the "hunt" for the answer.
March 2, 1966 was the day the millionth mustang was sold (http://www.history.com/this-day-in-h...lionth-mustang , http://media.ford.com/article_displa...ticle_id=17987). The sprint option was marketed as part of the Millionth Mustang celebration - which started in March.
BTW, the ford article has a great story about the 1st mustang and its owner Captain Stanley Tucker.
THANKS YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP, WE are going with MARCH ??? :):) I'll let you know if we pass ??
Good luck John....keep us posted.

Was there another sprint series with a v8?
John:
I just received my October issue of Mustang Monthly. In it, there is a section on special edition Mustangs, including Sprints. It states "The Sprint was produced from March until the end of the 1966 model year."
Hopefully this is correct...at least it agrees with what you answered.
