Not sure yet on the P-51. We did have one at the last MCA Show we hosted, and hope we can do it again. You could have your cars picture taken with the plane and there was a line all afternoon to do that. Airport fees and gas to get the plane here and back home ($1,500) are a serious consideration.

We will have a "Pony Trail" drive across 3 of the many bridges in the area including the Golden Gate Bridge on Friday afternoon, no charge unless you want a box lunch, but there will be a toll on one of the bridges ($5.00). There will be stops along the way for pictures. You will return to the hotel in plenty of time to get your car prepped for Saturdays judging.

Doug: Just a thought....Maybe you should do a poll and ask if people would pay to have their Mustang picture taken with the P-51...I know I passed at the Grand National Show in 2009 at Van Nuys as I had our Mustang picture taken years ago.......Might save your club some money......Just a thought....

Oh . . . do not worry, we will be charging if we do the P51 thing.

At this point in time we are not sure that the P51 contact we had is still available to fly his plane to the show for the 2 days. Still working on those arangements. (Don't know if it is resolved, seems I forgot to attend the meeting today. Perhaps it is a done deal)

I hope you do drive it out. We would love to see it and it would be a great vacation! Perhaps you could bring some others along with you and make it a "real' Pony Trails Trip.

We shall see. 4 days and 2800+ miles one way. Believe it or not, priced just flying out vs. driving. I'd only be saving approx. $100-$200 if my wife and I flew + rental car.
Right now, I am planning on going to Pensacola, FL, Warwick, RI and maybe Mustang, OK. IF I do Concord, one or two of those will have to go away.
