I'm sure he would, and I probably could fix his car, bake the pie and be home before Thursday's officer's meetingI have too much to do this week with club meetings, track day and general meeting, so we need to make this quick, lol

Here is my last communication from the dealership, from Scott Bennett, the service advisor:
Mr.Greene,
As far as your car we are going to be replacing the jet pump as a first step of action after some research we've done and then drive it to monitor fuel levels.
Thank You Very much for being so patient
Scott
I wrote Scott back and asked him what my other choices were besides being patient but he never responded. And I have no idea what a jet pump is as the car has a normal piston engine, not a jet engine?!
Apparently there are two units in your tank, a right side "jet pump" (stand-alone sending unit) and a left side fuel pump with a sending unit ATTACHED to it. There seems to be a lot of discussion on ALLFORDMUSTANG Forums about this problem. And they are reflect the same thing, that Ford is still trying to figure out why it keeps happening.

Are you a general in the club?! I didn't realize you were so high ranking!!!
And I guess with my car in the shop I do get worked up. They just asked my permission to test drive my car to see if they have fixed it. I guess that means driving around until the tank goes past 1/4 tank to see if it suddenly drops to E and says 3 miles to go before empty.
I am a General in my club, just ask our President, I'm his favorite club secretary. And I do seem to disappear and come back, don't I? I have about 4 different clubs that I have stuff to do for, as well as cook, clean, etc. Plus work 50 hrs a week, so I drop off the radar occasionally.
I think the real issue with the new cars is the saddletank design. This was never really a problem til they went with that idiotic concept. The standard rear tanks were fine.

Probably someone who rode a horse got the idea of saddle tanks. Anyway I just was at Cowles Ford and was talking to Matt Norris, the service manager. He was telling me a tale. Seems he was test driving my car and was almost to Manassas. He said the gauge was reading about 1/4 tank and saying 88 miles until empty. And as he looked at the miles to go his gaze went to the fuel gauge once again as just as he looked it suddenly went from 1/4 to empty and when he looked over at the mileage again it now read 2 miles to go. He said he put 7 gallons in the tank and as it is a 15 gallon tank it should have then read 1/2 tank if it were really empty but it now read 3/4 tank.
And he looked at me and said "We'll fix it" and I said "You don't even know what is wrong with it" and he again said "We'll fix it" so then I left. I guess I'll get it back when I get it back.
You seem to be ducking the diet question so I guess it isn't working out?! But maybe it won't work on you since you aren't a computer specialist.
Well, Mr. Bil, it is working, I've lost 8 lbs since last Thursday, and I do CAD so I qualify as a computer geek.
