With all that power, is there a danger of blowing the engine, breaking a piston or a rod?
Not so far, look at the shelby, roush and saleens on the road for years with blowers. Very dependable horse power. NO2 can be a problem, but not needed with a blower unless your running moonshine.
500 hp is about the upper end of really usable, daily driver horsepower though. This is cool but I have to ask "why?"
For me it's more of why not! New suspension help control all those ponies and that doubles the fun on wide open roads! It's nice to be in the .05 percentile.
