Hi,
I have a 1965 V8 Mustang here in England, and have bought an Ignitor 3 plus Flamethrower coil, the problem I have is that two people have attempted to fit them, and completely messed it up, the first charged me $65, but it was running (just about) rough, the second charged, WAIT FOR IT ! $1469 yes $1469, said that he couldn't do it and put the original points back, My question is, could any member advise me how to fit them ? and how easy, as I am a complete novice when it comes to mechanics of a motor vehicle My Thanks to anyone who is able to help

The installation is super simple and can be done in less than 1/2 hour. All you need is basic hand tools (screwdriver and wrenches). It requires minimal mechanical ability. If you can locate the distributor and turn a screwdriver or wrench you should be able to handle it. Here is a link to instructions with photos from Mustang Monthly.

Thanks Phil, I will give it a try, however it may be difficult handling it with my fingers crossed, I will keep you informed of my (any) progress
