Renewing online

Alright guys,
Wanted to ask a question before I make the big jump. Im looking to renew my membership (expires 10/11). I clicked the "renew today" link and was prompted to fill all the new information for a new member. Is this right? I dont know if MCA keeps a history of how long a members been on, but I didn't want to renew online and end up with a new numbe (and loose my previous year in history) or something.

Also, is membership lets say I renew for 5 years, from the day I renew or from the day my original card expires?

I tried my number and expiration date and it said it couldn't find me, so it may be the site. You should receive a renewal notice in the mail before your expiration date, if you want to pay sooner, contact the MCA and ask for a statement.

Ok, so my membership has run out. Am I going to loose my original number and start off with a new one?
