I second that! I spent a lot of time in the MCA booth in between stints of passing out Flyers for the Grand National Show. Thanks for being there.
It was great to finally see an official MCA booth at the Carlisle Ford Nationals. I stopped in on Friday morning and I had a great conversation with Shorty and Patty, renewed my membership for 2012 and picked up some MCA 35th Anniversary items. It is my hope that MCA benefited by being there and will continue to have a presence at this event.

I wonder how many new members signed up? This should be done at more big non-mca events!

George Valeri has the final count but Shorty and I remember around 22 new members and about 5 renewals. The MCA apperal merchandise was well received; selling better than expected. We had volunteers from the Orange County Mustang Club of New York and the First Pennsylvania Mustang Club helping to man the booth during the weekend. We were located on the Manufacture's Midway behind the Ford Garage Display and directly across from Evolution Performance.

Awesome 22 new members that is great! Is this the first non mca event that mca was at? Just wondering what the average of new members would be for non-mca events? May not have enough to do the average yet but I think that is a great start. Was there any young/student/military new members? Thanks for the information Patsy!
This was not the first non MCA event MCA has attended. MCA has attended Carlisle and other events in the past. This year is different in that we are more visible with the MCA merchandise. I also worked VIR and the SAAC 36 event Memorial Day weekend. We signed between 6 and 9 new members - 1 being from Canada. I'm not sure if any of the new members were young/student/military.
