Correct air cleaner for 1967 200cid Six Cyl

I would like to find out what is the correct color for the air cleaner assembly for a 1967 mustang with a 200 cid six. The one on my car is blue, but the replacement one I have seen at NPD is black. Which is correct, or are both correct? My car is not a California car.

ford dark corporate blue, same as the engine, would be the correct color. i 'assume' the repos are just painted to prevent rust.
