Windshield Weather Stripping

My 66 coupe windshield leaks. I am told that the reason it leaks is due to the fact that the weather stripping is not made by ford. Is there any difference in an after market? Where can I buy weather stripping? Your help is appreciated..

did the installer use 3M bedding & glazing compound during the install?? if not it needs to be added to seal it up.
