Redline Tires
I need some advice on buying new tires. For years I had the bias - belted dual redline tires on the car. A couple of years ago I needed new tires and had a set of 60 series radials hanging around so i put them on. Naturally, the car drove better with the radials but I don't like the look. I wanted to buy the Coker redline radials (P195R-75-14) but they stopped making them. The only other dual redline radial they offer is a P205R-70-14. I'm not sure if these will look as nice as the originals and would like some feedback from anyone who has them. Also, if anyone knows where there is a set of the P195R-75-14's I would appreciate the info.
Note; I drive the car occassionally to cruises, shows, or for a ride. I may do a national show in the future and probably enter in concourse driven class so tire selection is important.

Thanks Charles. I looked at their website but they only offer single redline tires not the dual redline tires.

Could I get some input from a judge as to whether the B.F. Goodrich P205R-70-14 dual redline radial that Coker tire sells is acceptable in Concourse Driven class

Pretty sure some guys have bought dual red line radials from diamond back, you may need to contact them directly. There is also a bf-goodrich dual red line radial tire, which I believe is being offered by some of the big parts vendors.
As far as size, 185 70R14 is probably the closest in appearance to a 6.95x14 bias ply, but I wouldn't deduct for a 195 or 205 if I was judging since the rules do not call it out exactly. The rules just say comparable size radial is acceptable in concours driven. You might get a note on the judging sheet, but there shouldn't be a deduction. If you had something like 225's, then that would be pushing it and there might be a deduction for that.

Thanks again Charles for the tire lead & your opinion regarding tire size. I wasn't able to find the tire on the Diamondback site but I can get the 205R - 70 -14 tires through Coker Tire. Now I have to try and swallow the almost $200. per tire price??
