MSR Houston Track event

Hey guys,

I was looking around on the MSR website at the track maps and I found they have several different configurations... do we know which track configuration we will have?

What is everyone doing to prepare for this? I have limited knowledge but I'd suggest DOT 4 brake fluid at the minimum.

Thanks for your post. This is an MSR conducted event so you should contact MSR through the website contacts given to get any further info about he track layout MSR will use and any preparations, safety equipment etc. that will be required. Club members that attend do so under MSR rules, requirements and schedule information. http://msrhouston.com/ We can share what we find out from MSR regarding car preparations that might be beneficial for their event.

Never knew that track was there. When is this event? I'm in San Antonio and can't wait to get on a track.

If this is an MSR event - does that mean there will be other cars on the track other than MCOH cars? Or is this event just for us?

They are running all day long. We will have 3 20Minute sessions on the track with MCOH Member cars only on those sessions. Keith

It's September 3rd. If you're interested I think you need to contact Keith Howard - there's only 25 spots.
Thanks for the input Pete - I'm just trying to get some discussions going on here about track setup! I could talk road race all day haha
