Grand National less than two weeks away

The NCRMC is the proud host the 2011 MCA Grand National to be held in suburban Washington DC this labor day weekend. We are now down to crunch time trying to get the finishing touches on the show. We have close to 450 cars pre-registered!

We look forward to seeing everybody there...vendors scheduled to appear: Dad's Mustang Supply, Marti Autoworks, Mustang MOnthly, ACME Apparrell (MCA and Show Merchanidise, Bill Ross with remaining inventory from Pony and Corral, and more....one vendor will be unvailing a new coilover set up for 67-70 Mustangs...check it out!

Entertainment includes Donald Farr, Elvis (yes he's making a special appearance), and even a monster truck in support of the Wounded Warriors project. On Sunday the Rotary club will be giving away a 1966 Mustang Convertible....maybe you can bring one car and take home two!!!

The Maryland Blue Crabs will be playing a double header on Thursday, so if you like baseball you can catch two games for the price of one.

Make sure to patronize the sponsors of the show too...its their donations that make this possible:

Local...Waldorf Ford, Virginia Classic Mustang, American Highperformance, DARO Realty, and Performance Automatic...National Sponsors: NPD, CJ Pony Parts, Car Covers Direct, Classic Design Concepts, and Moss Muscle...

Make sure to stop by the MCA tent and say hello to Steve Prewit (the MCA Pres) and pick up your new MCA gear from Steve Hall and the fine folks at ACME Aparrel

Thumbs up I wish I could

Attended my first National event in Iowa, we had a blast! If your event even compares to Iowa and it sounds like it will with 400 pre reg., it's going to be a good time! I suggest anyone that's close or capable of hitting an MCA event, Go, or like the song, "Ride Sally Ride". MCA events are different in judging "meaning you are ur own competition not your buddy or the guy beside you" , MCA are well organized events. I promise if you have a question, they will have an answer!
Enjoy, Good Luck and I cant wait to read the out come of this National Event!

    Big numbers expected

Yep...lots of great judges with lots of knowledge.

Close to 460 now...we expect 500...that's the limit. Right now its paper registration...but e-mail richard porter to make sure there's a spot before your send it in!

The Earthquake has already happened and the Hurricane is on track for Saturday....so the Long range forecast looks good....sunny in the 80's....lets hope the weathermen are right!

    Where's Waldorf? Just kidding...

The entire Baltimore/Washington area took a beating over the weekend. I have not seen the damage in Waldorf but reports were of minor flooding, some roof damage, and lots of downed tree.

I checked with the host hotel this morning and they report NO DAMAGE at the hotel, and all things up and running normally!
