    Mustang specialist shop

    Hi all,

Last week I purchased my first Mustang - a 2008 GT.

We got the car from Texas Direct Auto, and they acquired it from an auction. There has been some aftermarket upgrades, the most obvious one is the exhaust system - I revved it for my mother, grandmother, and toddler son. My mom screamed, my grandmother threw her hands up and dang near had a heart attack, and it made my son cry.

In other words, it sounds "just right" IMO

Being new to mustangs (and sports cars in general) can someone please give advice on any of the following:

    1. Mustang friendly shops
    2. How to find out what upgrades have been done
    3. Who's got a good dyno to benchmark my car
    4. Anything else that, as a noob, I don't know to ask about.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

I cant recommend any shops as I try to do all the work myself. I have no doubt if you take it to one of the monthly MCOH meetings there will be plenty of helpful folks who can point out what is original and what is not. Great group of people there. Welcome to the wonderful world of Mustangs.
