I purchased a 66 Mustang Convertible this summer and after some travel I am starting to work on it. I am hoping to find access to club members who could give advice to a novice attempting to restore his first car.

I am going to go to the website after this, but the stage I am in is really the very beginning. The car was stripped for the most part and the metal work (floorpans/body) done previously. I don't know how well it was done as I am starting to have a couple of issues. I did pull the engine and I thought I would start there in cleaning that up (cleaning, painting, new gaskets, etc...) and at the same time start working on the body.

I will be anxious to here from the Mustang Club members. I am in the Kansas side of KC and look forward to meeting some of you in the near future.
