    Smile Biltmore National Show

MCA show at the Biltmore was definately a hit with everyone that I spoke to. My congratulations to Joe and Richie and Carolyn Mashburn and to anyone else who helped to put the show together ! Looking forward to seeing everyone on the show circuit in 2011 ! [/B]

You better believe it was a good one ! on another forum they are bashing the show......but it's not the host clubs fault when an extraordinary bunch of folks decide to attend & foul up your transportation plans. we are working on pics to be posted later.......she took 1400+ pics......yes that is a correct number.

Even with transportation issues, I was very happy to see such a high quality show in an exclusive location. Hope that other clubs will consider more appealing show locations for hosting nationals.

I agree with Charles, shows held in places with more attraction would be great.

We received a flier from Mr. Grace while at the Indy show last year and immediately knew that we wanted to attend if at all possible. The long drive to the show was worth it. The amount of time and effort that it took to bring this together must have been extraordinary. Kudos to Blue Ridge and all the volunteers. We thought it was a great show and the venue was awesome! Fabulous!

Considering all the things that could have gone wrong, the logistics required and the unexpected inflow of vistiors on Saturday - I think the show would have to be classified as a success. When you try to do something different and on such a large scale, it easily could have been a disaster. A Big Thanks and Congratulations to the Blue Ridge club.

We had a great time at the Biltmore National Show. I can't comment for spectators, but we felt it was well organized for the participants. Thanks to the Blue Ridge Mustang Club for hosting such a great event!

Hey Johnny, This is Richie & Carolyn Mashburn. Thank You very much for such nice words about our Nationals at the Biltmore Estate. To be a first National for us, I think we done exceptionally well. Naturally, you will have a few flaws in a National of this magnatude and have the nay sayers voice their opinions. But, we think we done pretty darn good. I've been around MCA for 24 years and have never seen this many Mustangs at a National or Grand National event to my recollection. And I want to say THANKS to all who came to our show and supported us and enjoyed themselves.

I am so sad we had to cancel our plans to attend. I know it would have been memorable and a favorite for a long time. I applaud the club and it's organizers for taking on such a big challenge and making it happen.

FYI - my club has submitted an application for a 2012 show at a new and very spectacular venue. Details to come when (if) we get approval.
