MCA -ignoring CA
I have been a long standing member of MCA . I am finding that their is les control over thee clubs herer in California . I would like to start receiving MCA points for both my For Mustangs. They are not trailer queens ,but well keeps ponies that deserve some medallions and credit for the MCA judges.
It is very had for me to go around the state to attend MCA show. I fine there is more appreciation on the east coast than on the west cost which I some up " as a dog and pony show."
I would lie to get involved as a judge since my back ground is a Concours judge for classic automobiles. However what good is this if I can not use my credentials and receive the just reward for being a member for over 1o years. I like to participate in a show were the judges are MCA certified . both my mustangs are orginal paint and interiors like they just came off the assembly line.
1) 1987 Mustang LX 5.0 notch back some suspension work plus factory size tire and factory pony wheels. not a Manny , Moe and Jack car.
2) new to me a 1995 Mustang Cobra-R all Stock only 250 made.
I hope to hear back with some positive news. I think we in california with the Fox chassis deserve a brake.
Sincerely
Robert Geco

Hi,
I'm glad you're interested in having your ponies judged by MCA and volunteering your time to help too.
There are a few shows out our way in the next couple of years.
April 2012 in St. George, UT.
June 2012 in Concord, CA.
June 2013 in Reno, NV.
We would love to have your help and your ponies at our event in St. George next April. Check out our website for the MCA National at Tuacahn, www.numoa.com
In the past few years there have been many more MCA events out west. I don't feel we are overlooked anymore.
2004 Park City, UT
2006 Las Vegas, NV
2007 Concord, CA
2008 Park City, UT
2009 Los Angeles, CA
2010 Bellevue, WA
MCA is great to put the shows where the regional clubs request to host them. I would recommend you assist at the upcoming events and maybe encourage your club to host one in the future also. That is how we get them where we want them is to apply. MCA doesn't pre-determine where they are held, it is the clubs that must apply to host them.
Hope to meet you in April!
Joyce
