MCA Renewal

My MCA membership will expire in 2012 and I have received a notice for renewal. I see that the membership fee at the National shows is listed at a discount rate of $40.00. I have not seen anything on the site that speaks of the different pricing. I was wondering why there is the $10.00 difference and should I wait to renew at the National show in Pensacola rather than complete my renewal on line? If I have missed or overlooked this topic having been addressed previously, I apologize. Thanks for your time. Tim

The show flyers for the 2012 shows have been setup to facilitate a non-MCA member joining the MCA along with their registration. In the case of the Pensacola Flyer it says join MCA for $40. It then list the car registration of $50. It then tells current MCA members to deduct $10. The non-MCA member does not deduct the $10. So if he joins MCA he pays $40 to join plus the additional $10 in registration for a total of $50 to join MCA. I believe at least one host club in 2012 is also waiving the additional $10 registration fee if the participant joins MCA with their registration. None of the registration forms are structure to allow current MCA members to renew at a discount.
