    Angry Door Panel problems

The covering on the driver side door panel is coming detached. Is this a common problem and is there an easy way to repair this?

I have a 2007 GT Convertible. The black trim is what is coming loose. I have thoughts of using super glue orsome spray adheasive. I just don't want to make it worse. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have a 2007 convertible as well. To be clear are you talking about the insert on the door? Looks like leather? Is that what is coming off? do you have any pictures?

I have parchment (tan) interior and the door panels have a black insert that looks like leather. It has come "unglued".

First thing I would do is check your warranty. Stuff like this should be covered if it is still under warranty. Next I would take it to an upholstery shop and see if they can repair it. Should be pretty easy to repair.

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the advice. I will check the warranty but am sure that it has expired. The upholstery shop is a good idea. Like I said, I didn't want to make it worse than it is.

hi, make sure the shop that does the repair adds a leather bead all around the door insert. if you dont the repair will not look factory finished. had to repair my 07 gt. cost was 45.00 per door.
