Welcome to the site!
The unexpected sneaker is everywhere..
Hi Brad, good job, somehow I knew you were just looking for another challenge.

Welcome, its cool to see a T5 owner on the site! Would love to see some pictures, especially since they are fairly rare over here!

Thanks for your interest. It is not really original in all details - badges removed and a bit more power, but one day it may end up original again![]()
What year is it? I've only seen a few first genration T-5's at shows but didn't they make them all the way up until 78? I know only a few emblems on the fender, trunk, and interior were the only difference on the ones I saw but not sure if other years had more variations or not.

Oh, nevermind. I didn't see the picture until I made the last post. Very nice!

Yep, the differences are subtle mainly for the emblems, but not really consistent depending on US army staff cars or those sold to Germans plus individual local authorities requested modifications for lightning/signals/manual brakes and more.
My friend Gary Hanson runs the T-5 registry and I "shovel" the ones here in Europe over to him. www.fordt5.com is his website.
Yes they are rare but I also own a 66 T-5 convertible too. It's actually my wife's car but it hasn't made it on to the road yet. I bought it for her years ago with the plan to do a trailer concourse resto on it but life got in the way and we never did it. Now we've decided to just get it running again and enjoy it and work on it a little every year. In the 20 yrs. we've owned this car we have only seen 3 T-5's at shows. One was years back in Burlington VT. and it was a 66 conv. out of Canada. The second one was at the 1st New England MCA Nationals and it was a 67 coupe (I believe). The last one we saw yesterday at the Tasca Ford / John Force show in Cranston RI and it was a 66 coupe. The funny thing about the last one was the fact that the owner lives about 40 miles from my wife & I and we have never met before.
