Hotel Reservations 2013 GN @ Disney Speedway

I called at 8:45am (Central time) and they took my name and contact information and the dates I wanted to book and said they would call back by the end of next week to get my credit card to hold/book the room. They were very nice and explainded the 500 day booking system prevented them from completing the transaction at this point. I am looking forward to the show!

I phoned and was able to book for August 28, 2013 but it had to be at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort before August 29. They processed my VISA for the $111 tax included rate for that date with a reservation number.

They took my daytime phone number and said they would call me back to complete the booking for August 29 to September 2 at the Coronado Resort. They said it would be another one night fee deposit.

Another GHMA member said they just told him to call back on April 23, and book then without taking his name and contact phone number. He spoke to a male operator and i spoke to a female operator. I told him he may want to call back and see if another operator has a different response.

Is April 17 the final day or the first day for resevations?

It is the first day. Hopefully all of the issues will be solved by the 23rd

They will start calling people tomorrow. Please just be patient with us. Please be assured that we have plenty of rooms and once we get over this hic-cup, everyone will have a great time at the show

It is your choice, to call or to wait, it will not make any difference, we have plenty of rooms from the 26th. As of right now, if you want to stay the 26-28, you will have to make the reservations at another one of Disney resorts and as the block at the Coronado is being held for another group When that is released, we will start pulling them for our club members. Disney messed up on this one and we hope that everyone understands that we are doing our best to work things out. Sorry about the kids, the Grand National is always held on Labor Day Weekend. I am sure that the kids won't miss be in school.

Just got my call from Disney Coronado. The girl apologized for the mess and took my information and will call me back tomorrow to pay my credit card information to reserve my room since I want to stay until 9/3. Now waiting for the show registration to be put up!

we received our call back today and were successful in making the reservations. thanks to all involved in fixing it.
