Trunk size for a 2012 convertible

After touring California in a Mustang, we now plan to do Florida, again in a Mustang convertible. As last time, we would like to know how much space we have in the trunk, with the hood down. This to
make sure we do not bring too many or too big suitcases. Who can help me ??? We rented at Budget, probably they will provide a 2012 model. Thanks all !!

According to Edmunds it is 9.7 cubic feet.

My recommendation is to use soft luggage so that you can persuade it to conform to the contours of the available space.

Thanks Edmunds, it seems to me that this is not a lot ? that would be 3 x 3 feet and 1 foot high ? From our previous trip I believe we could easily stow 2x airline handluggage suitcases, with room on the side for "soft" bags.

My wife has a 2011. My advice; "The back seat is your best friend when it comes to extra needed space for luggage" Oh and +1 on the soft luggage advice!
