I am just curious as to why the MCA does not answer questions asked by the membership when posted under the "ASK MCA" section of the website.
As president and our web site admin for our local club, I fully understand that positions are held by volunteers; everyone is busy; etc. But why have a section called "ASK MCA" if the MCA does not plan to answer said questions? While we are lucky to have very knowledgable frequent posters, forums are an excellent source for reaching out to a club's membership base. I appreciate the MCA giving us a venue for asking questions and getting to know our fellow hobbyist, but there is a huge gap left by the lack of participation from our Officers and Board of Directors. Besides a lack of response to the membership's reaction to the 50th Anniversary (maybe offering to share the MCA's thought process?), do our questions, concerns and suggestions on other issues not matter? Below are just a few examples that I've run across lately.

February 12, 2012 - The members want a clean pdf file(not a colored scan from our magazine ad), front and center on the website, NOT in the members area... - I personally encountered this irritation earilier this year while on the phone with someone wanting to join the MCA. I finally scanned a copy out of the Mustang Times then cropped all the colored photos out and enlarged it then drove it over to the potential member that DID infact join. I perform these tasks enough for our local club, now it's left for the MCA members to take on that task for the MCA too?

Really, I'm not trying to be difficult. But I read forums for the information and knowledge to be gained. I routinely leave the MCA forums with questions I didn't even know I had and no answers to go with them. Which eventually, will make me lose interest in even typing... www.Mustang.org
