Silverstar Ultra Headlight Bulbs

I finally got a good job and was able to afford a Mustang. I had a quick question about the headlights. The headlight bulbs that are in the car now are decent, but are not as bright as I would like them to be. Has anyone ever used, or know anything about the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs? Supposedly they are pretty good and very bright. Does anyone have any tips in this area.

Installed them in my 05. They were excellent with one problem...at least for me. The black coated bulb shields melted and it looked like melted wax drippings coming down from the bulb. Replaced the assemblies and now use the Sylvania's that are one upgrade up from stock. Live in the country and use the brights almost all the time at night.

I have installed them in both my 2005 Mustang & our 2006 Crown Vic last year. Both are working fine, do some night long distance driving.

Are they worth the price? How much brighter would you say they are from stock
