    Blue Loctite...?

I’d used blue Loctite as I “reused” the original Ford bolts and nuts on my suspension mods: A-arms, Control Arms, Panhard Rod, and Panhard Rod Brace. I was told it would work as well as buying all new hardware, but since then I’ve read that it was recommended to use NIB nuts and bolts only for suspension mod changes.

Pros and cons would be appreciated because I can always double back and correct any issues if necessary.

    Thanks,

Think it would be best to defer to replacement of fasteners as specified in the Ford shop manual.

If you're concerned about originality, then you probably want to re-use as many fasteners as possible.

Be sure to completely clean the threads of any fasteners re-used and loctite applied.

    Thanks for the reply CT,

Yeah I was aware of the manual information, but was told by a Ford dealer mechanic it’s been ok to use blue loctite. I’m not really considering originality because I’m adding too many mods and I'm trying not to pay ridiculous car dealer's prices for simple items.

What are the best Internet sources for factory Ford and/or aftermarket fasteners, bolts, and nuts…? Ford dealerships will make you buy a pack of fasteners, bolts, or nuts containing twice as many as needed and very pricey as well. The last I checked 4 bolts for $60 and I only needed 2 of them…WTF
