Simple poll: 2 shows for 50th, yes or no

Never posted a poll before, hope this works. It will at least give a small sampling of membership opinion.

Looks like the poll feature works! Just select YES or NO at the top and we will have an anonymous count just like the Presidential elections. Unlike the Presidential elections, only registered members can vote, they can only vote once, and dogs and dead people aren't allowed to vote.

I voted yes, only because I know this will probably be the BIGGEST anniversary event, until the 100th. I'm ALMOST sure I can't attend that one. But seriously, if one venue is used, I'm sure it would be over crowded and hard to take in and accomadate everyone that will attend the most popular anniversary the Mustang will have in our lifetimes. So YES, from me, just this one time.

Yes, support two shows....might be difficult, though, to decide which one living in Houston

    YES for 2 shows

I've been to both race tracks and while working near those cities, they were both fun trips. I am sure there's going to multiple Pony Trails, some day trips and some 5-6 days one way. WHY do you ask travelling that far? Well it's OUR Mustang, enough said. From here there's 2 groups going, one to each. Seeing LeMay Museum is open for business, it would be a good starting point. Does it really matter if there's 1 or 2?, there are clubs out there that will hold there own 50th anniversary, all of these gatherings are to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang, the FIRST Pony car. NOW - you ONLY have 22 months to plan your trip and get your derriere to one of these gatherings. Guess which one I will be attending (daughter lives in Tennessee)? No second guesses ; )

Nobody cares what I think but frankly watering down both shows is lame. There is going to be a show that is better than the other no matter what. I'll be waiting to go to the show that advertises the best features and guests. Having 2 shows is a bad idea. If nothing else make it centrally located for everyone no matter what coast your coming from.

Worst idea ever. The current MCA board is alienating the membership and turns a deaf ear. Great poll, it will not a make a difference. I know these decisions have lead many members of our local club to consider leaving MCA and our club as a whole has discussed it. By a narrow margin we have agreed that we will continue to be an MCA affiliate...but the vote gets closer ever time. Watch out MCA the natives are restless.
