Absolutly well done, it was said the 50K people and 15 to 20K Corvettes were there. I drove my Corvette 1600 miles each way, the Caravan was awsome and well organized.

My point is, where does Ford corporate stand in all of this? I find the MCA to be self-serving, but optimistic they will get the job done. No matter where it is, or who does it, I will be there. If asked to help I will. A lot of work will go into this event, money will be spent by someone. I will not stand on the sidelines and complain, I will have fun."

    A very positive attitude...
It will happen--the show will go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As to the Corvette comment-attitude (not an issue of one car or brand over another). The 20th anniversary of the National Corvette Museum will be held over Labor Day in Sept 2014. 2+ years away, 1/2 a year after the Mustang 50th. And guess what--plans for it are deep underway. Caravan routes are being planned..a web site up and running about the caravan groups. Sponsors are being soliciated--overnight stop events (aka Hot Rod Power Tour type stuff) are being planned. Folks are out 'predriving' parts of routes..... These guys (and gals) consider 2 yrs out as short time, crunch time.....just sayin'
