we are at the crown plaza motel so it will be on blacktop parking lot.

I am thinking it is on the grass even though it is at the Crown Plaza.

It would be nice to have a show on grass. Every one of the world's most prestigious concours events (Amelia Island, Pebble Beach, Palo Alto, etc) hold their events on grass. It's so much more pleasant a setting than dirty, hot asphalt.

looking at google maps satellite - it appears they do have a nice large grassy area
