Apology to Jim Silverman, MCCNE and MCA Judging Team

I need to make a public apology to Jim Silverman, MCCNE and the MCA judging team. Quite simply, my earlier post was uncalled for and unreasonable. Also, I made some highly innapropriate comments regarding judging. There was no excuse for it and basically was due to me getting wrong information and not verifying it first. I acted on this wrong information and insisted Jim was the Warwick show's chairman when in fact he tried to put me in touch with the appropriate person which I wrongly took this as "blowing me off".

I have spoken with Steve Hewitt and those involved at length. Steve was quite right in that what started out with a simple issue was compounded by misunderstandings over email responses. The issue has been resolved to the owner's satisfaction.

One last comment. I made the good old boy comment regarding Jim's judging team out of frustration. I've seen it countless times before at local shows yet never at an MCA show. It was inapropriate to compare the two when there is no reason to show otherwise. MCA judging in my opinion has been consistent and fair. I judge at several major venues and have to say that MCA judging always has been regarded as fair at these venues. Again, I was pissed (wrongly) after misunderstanding the replys and took it to mean everything would be treated differently in judging. It was stupid and unlike me.

Thanks to those who have sent me personal replies concerning judging and yes there was NEVER any reason to mention the judging staff as biased in any way.

My apologies to all those offended and I'll make sure to try to remove my foot from my mouth.

    Thanks
    Andy

    Thumbs up

Look me up at the show, and lets sit down (after show hours LOL) and have a beer.
