I'm trying to fine out when FORD start building the SPRINT 200s ??? Need some help

Sprint 200's were built beginning in the 1966 model year. I do not have the exact beginning date, but they were built through the entire '66 model year, as I have a July '66 Dearborn built Sprint.

Based on the info in the below link, I'd have to say December. See the response from Pete Bush. He collects build sheets on Sprints and his earliest is January. Since January is not an option on the test, the next earliest month is December.

I just dug out my MCA test that I took in June 2006. I had the same question and answered Feb 1966.

Unfortunately, I do not know for sure if this is correct, since they did not tell me my score, or what questions I answered correctly. All I know is MCA mailed me my "Certified Judges" card.

Amoung the choices you have, only A (March) or D (February) are possible. Choice B (December 1966) would be in the 1967 model year and choice C (July 1966) is at the very end of 1966 production.

I ran several Google searches on this, but did not find anything definate. There is an individual (Tony Kovar) that visits the concoursmustang.com site that is assembling a Sprint Registry. Not sure how many chances you get with this online test, but you may want to post this question over there. I'm sure tony would chime in.

It is my understanding that the Ford Sprint Mustang was built to celebrate the millionth Mustang sold. I think this would have occured around April 1966 so the answer would be (A) March 1966.
