Gona have Lots of Qs
Hey everybody, im not new to the Mustang thing, Iv owned a cpl, 1969 and a 88 LX with a streetable 12 sec ride. And here starts the Questions,lol. First of all my name is Guy, again Hey everyone n heres what Im up against. About 1 yr ago I bought a 1993 E-350 superduty ( VAN ) for my Heating and cooling busn. I bought the Van with 121 K on the engine. A friend that ownes a performance shop pulled and rebuilt the motor with a bigger Air Mass a mild cam and larger enjectores. Soon after tha trans went, again ,another friend that does Trans's for a living rebuilt n beefed this one up. I then had a extended one ton that would boil the right rear and get a hellaofa second gear chirp. about 2 months ago a teehage girl in her Daddies P/U *** packed me at a red light and totaled the truck. I pulled the engine and trans and all the elect, ( ECU ) and everything I could think of. Last week I found a local person here in northern Mi with an origanal 93 Cobra and only 21 K on the speedo. It was sold to me without the motor or trans. My question is how hard is it gona b for me to make this work? I know Im gona have to change a few things, like oil sump, Pan, Mounts. But Im wondering about useing my E4OD trans. It was built strong enought to hold together under the load of a big work truck and still have overdrive, but I know that there are guys that do this sort of thing all the time. So If anybody can offer up some help with wedging in a Mildly built 5.8 and an E4OD into a foxbody I would really be thankful. Also I moved from the Detriot area up to the Cadillac -Travers area and would love to find some motor head guys to hang with,lol
