    Winter Storage

New 2013 GT Premium...what's the best way to winter it? Indoor storage with cover on it, but, full tank with Sta-bil, empty-ish? on blocks, off blocks, run engine every few days/weeks? What is THE best way?

    Winter Storage

I have been doing the winter storage for 20+ years on my 1988 GT. Fresh full gas tank, no stabilizer, and new oil change to start. Wash and wax before covering. Car placed up on cement blocks with wood between the suspension and the blocks. Battery tender is a big help. I start my car once a month and run it in gear on the blocks for 15-20 minutes until the exhaust and heater are hot and dry. Dec.-April gives me 10-13 miles on the OD in the garage on blocks. The blocks keep the tires from flat spotting which will happen quite easily without movement. My garage is unheated in the Northeast. The added height also allows for some under car work while in storage.

Thank you very much. Appreciate your advice. I'll try to do it best I can.
