Restoring 71 Mach 1 J code SCJ

Looking for stamping or engineering number on front and rear shocks. Car has 429 SCJ with C6 trans and a build date 03-71. Also need the build date for shocks. Does auto trans have different shock than 4 speed ?. Any info would-be appreciated.

Anything from the last half of 70 production would be acceptable IMHO for judging. OF course the date codes will not be checked at an MCA event if you show in Concours classes

For the markings unfortunately the parts catalogs list only the part numbers (not how they were stamped on th epart) and the buildsheets only the color codes (paint daub color) - Violet for the rear and White for the front so this can get difficult

Yes the rears are but of they are shared with other cars also (not specific just to 429 CJ cars)
