Can't you have a similar product that is hydro dipped for half the cost. After all look at some of the stage three engine kits that have designs on them for about the same price.

    Hi BradGTCS,

There is a HUGE difference between custom airbrushing and hydrocarbon film. Airbrushing is done by hand with paint and hydrocarbon is a film not the same process. With hydrocarbon a part is dipped in a water solution that has hydrocarbon film. With hydrocarbon you are limited to the films that are available. In some cased depending on the part hydrocarbon is also more in cost. Hydrocarbon also using most of the same stages as paint, it's not just a matter of dipping a product in a tank of water.

I realize that but you can take any design and make it a hydro dip project. It holds up as well as paint and it is often a cheaper alternative. You know it has to hold up because most of the camo frames on ATV's, gun stocks and such are made from hydro dipping. I am simply stating that this is a forum. If your going to advertise on a forum people may point out cheaper alternatives. That is what a forum is for . The stating of other options for the greater good of all Mustangers. I actually believe that it is a conflict of interest to pedal products on a forum because the product being push can get a skewed review from the poster. Such as what may be happening here by your response on hydro dipping which is becoming more and more popular as people find out what it is and who does it. The pattern can be computer generated and printed not airbrushed.
