I believe the answer is in the FAQ:
If you pay the $150 entry fee how do you know if you will be parking inside the track or outside at Charrolette. Is it a first come first serve? What is the real answer?
FastDad, Thanks for the response
Interesting, it is going to be a first come first serve.

[QUOTE=mustangted1963;23414]so that means the line starts at 4am?[/QUOTE Hi Ted, thats the question my husband and I had and are they going to have a place where we can buy breakfast. If we have to get there that early and can not leave until five o clock man thats gonna be a real long day. Assigned parking would be the best. You know where your gonna park and not have to get there so early' They did that at the 45th.
I would like to be able to come and go from the track as I please. Staying at the track until 5:00pm each day means you miss alot of great things in the Concord area (race shop tours, bass pro, Concord Mills, etc.).
This is not a "car show". It is a Mustang event with lots to see and do. If you plan on sitting in a chair by your Mustang all day, you're going to miss out on most of the good stuff.
I really think folks are getting all worked up about a non-issue. Much of this event is still in the planning stages and now with Ford on-board, there will be even more to see and do at both sites (Charlotte, Las Vegas).
First I would like to say, I appreciate the monumental undertaking the staff at MCA have taken on. The staff working on the celebration have done a great job keeping everyone in the loop with many updates. This 50th anniversary for my beloved Mustang will be the biggest and best celebration ever.
Parking will also be in the M.O.R.E. parking area if you come with a club and park together as a club. You can come and go as you please. There will also be additional Mustang only parking (for those who registered) next to the overpass walkways to the track. As the track opens at 8am, I do not think that lining up at 4am will be necessary and there is expected to be food vendors serving breakfast and for sure lunch and snacks during the day. We are diligently working with the track and their food suppliers to make sure that there is an abundance of choices for food along with reasonable pricing.
How does a club get information on M.O.R.E.? I agree very much the MCA has and are still working very hard to get this show together and I appreciate everything they are doing. This is something that will never happen again in some of our life times. My husband and I our very proud of our mustangs and can't wait for the show. So let's hope the parking will make everybody happy when the show come's around
