Fred thanks for posting. I pushed this to the Executive Committee for their review.
i'm going to open a can or worms here. how many would lke to see the minutes of the board meeting posted almost immediately after the meeting? the posting could be marked 'rough draft' or 'subject to board approval' so folks would at least have some idea of what was discussed without having to wait for full bod approval. i know that in the other thread it said mca was following roberts rules of order but i still do not see why it could not be done. the bylaws could simply be amended to reflect this.

Let me see what transpires and I will get back with you. Ping me in a couple of days if you do not hear anything.
Fred I am posting the current approval process as stated in another thread for clarity so that others have a perspective on this. This post is not the answer to your question, only the current process for managing and approving the meeting minutes.
The MCA posts all approved meeting minutes for everyone in the MCA to see. Those minutes are drafted after the meeting and the draft is circulated to all BOD members for input to ensure correctness. The first order of business at the next meeting is to approve the meeting minutes from the last meeting. Once that is done they are posted. That takes time but it is the process used and is in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order, which the MCA uses.
A link to all the past MCA BOD meeting minutes can be found from the homepage by clicking on ABOUT MCA (right side) then on ADMINISTRATION and finally you can find the link there. You can access the link directly by clicking the link below as well...
