    Proof of Organization Membership

Hi! I am pretty new to this whole thing. I am going to purchase my first Mustang in a couple of months and wanted to try out the Ford X-Plan Partner Recognition New Vehicle Purchase Program. However, I do not know how I can show them proof of my membership with the MCA organization if the dealership asks for it. Can anyone help me with this issue! Thanks!

Don't you have an MCA membership card with your name on it?

    Leilany,

You will receive a membership packet that includes a membership card in the mail which will serve as proof of membership.

Be sure to read up on the X-plan program details. I believe it states you have to be a MCA member for 30 days to be eligible.

Yes I did read up on the X-PLan Eligibility Rules. I am going to be ordering my mustang in 2 weeks and I am not going to buy it until I have saved up the amount I wanted to save up for the down. I am going to purchase the car at the end of January (by then it should have arrived at the dealership). Actually, I don't even know if the dealership is participating in the Program. (I emailed my sales associate and asked him, so I should be hearing from him soon.) Thanks!

Participation in the X-Plan pricing is not mandatory for Ford Dealers (as far as I know), but I've not heard of many that refuse. I recently purchased an F150 using the program and it was a pleasant ordeal. The price was lower than I was able to negatiate on my own, although I didn't spend a great deal of time and effort. Plus there were NO additional sales pitches for paint coating, theft deterrents, nitrogen, etc. The dealer did require me to provide a PIN and produce my MCA membership card.
